Gymnastics looking to compete despite loss of freshman to injury

Four days before the Ball State gymnastic team's first Mid-American Conference meet, head coach Joanna Saleem found out one of her gymnasts would not be able to compete because of an injury. Instead of having to find one person to fill in for freshman Jordyn Penny, who has a stress fracture in her back, Saleem had to add four routines to the line-up.

Offense guides Cardinals to 5-1 record

The Ball State men's volleyball team has jumped out to a 5-1 record so far this season, and the team's offense has been the key to becoming the No. 14 team in the nation.

A cappella group's camaraderie leads to ICCA Midwest Quarterfinals

From “the Rock”, to “Savage” - even to “Mom and Dad," the nicknamed members of the new Ball State a cappella group, Unexpected Resolution, share a strong bond. On Saturday, the group, composed of 15 members, 10 of which are freshman, head to Chicago to compete in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella Midwest Quarterfinals

Gymnastics falls to MAC foe Central Michigan

The Ball State gymnastics team suffered another loss Friday at the hands of five-time Mid-American Conference champion, Central Michigan University, putting its record at 0-4 on the season. The Cardinals lost 199.775 to 196.175.
