Pence terminates JustIN state-run news website

Three days after announcing state-run news service JustIN, Gov. Mike Pence is terminating the project. In a memorandum to all state agency heads on Thursday afternoon, Pence said, "However well intentioned, after thorough review of the preliminary planning and careful consideration of the concerns expressed, I am writing to inform you that I have made a decision to terminate development of the JustIN website immediately." The taxpayer-funded news source would have included feature stories written by the government’s press secretaries.

Matt Walsh, the NCAA's leader in blocks per set, has stepped into the Ball State lineup and contributed immediately.
