Almost all of the 120 undersized seats in room 217 of the Museum of Art were occupied as the second annual In Print Festival got underway. Joy Castro, Victoria Chang and Ander Monson captivated the audience as each read from their newly published books. The stage at the front spanned the room's length, but the authors read behind a singular podium positioned clear to the left.

Student Government Association senators and executives made appointments and discussed legislation at the first Student Senate meeting of the term. Three cabinet positions were filled with Sen. It comes with every official Ball State University schedule book, and it's part of the materials each freshman receives upon entering the school. However, most students never take more than a cursory glance at the Student Code. It's not short, and it's not simple, so most students ignore it until they have to answer to it - and that's a mistake.
