Jon-Tyler Core, a junior telecommunications major, and Bobby Richards, a senior theater major, received the Gold Award and Student Overall Best-of-Show for their promotional DVD for Reflex, an improvisational/sketch comedy troupe at Ball State.

Starting during the 2007-2008 academic year, students will no longer have Saturday finals. University Senate approved the legislation that would remove Saturday finals from the academic calendar. Dear Editor, I am writing in concern of a recent Forum opinion column, "Celebs Shouldn't Put Obesity in Positive Light," which caught my undivided attention. Being at an average weight, I am still appalled by the column. After reading this horrific article, I used Brad Hostetter's references to obtain my own knowledge.
Time to discuss student concerns was cut during Wednesday's Student Government Association meeting because special orders of business took time and priority. As the clock neared 5 p.m., senators approved the elimination of caucus meetings, cut committee meetings down to five minutes and skipped all committee reports except for Student Safety because it had legislation to read.
Ball State University's Electronic Field Trip program added more glamour to its already impressive resum+â-¬. The program, created by the Teachers College in 1996, recently received six more Telly Awards for last year's programs.
Dear Editor, This is in response to Brad Hostetter's column on March 29, "Celebs shouldn't put obesity in positive light." I agree with the statement - obesity is a huge problem in the United States - but Hostetter attacking full-figured women and claiming they are unattractive is preposterous.
Students love things that are open 24 hours a day - see: Wal-Mart and IHOP. As of November, Bursar accounts have been added to that prestigious list through Cardinal QuickPay. With the rising cost of postage and increasing expectation that students will be digitally savvy, Ball State's move away from paper bills simply makes sense.
