Poinsettia sale benefits cancer patients

A poinsettia sale benefiting cancer patients in Central Indiana is happening this week at Ball State University.The sale is happening now through Friday. Poinsettias are being sold for $12. People interested in buying a plant or donating to the cause can get an order form in the Art and Journalism Building Room 300 or online at www.littlereddooreci.org.

FOOTBALL: Ball State loses 35-3 to Central Michigan to notch season's 10th loss

Central Michigan University was in control of Wednesday night's game from the start and defeated Ball State 35-3. Dan LeFevour had another big day at Scheumann Stadium going 25-of-28 for 344 yards and four touchdowns. He added a rushing touchdown and broke Byron Leftwich's Mid-American Conference career passing record.

Some say the best way to learn is to teach. Senior theatre major Derrick Ramey knows how true that can be. Ramey is the director of the Cave Theater production of "Criminal Genius," which premiers Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

Spreading the word about National Peanut Butter Lover's Month

November is a month of many celebrations. Some students were reciting quotes from the movie "V for Vendetta" for Guy Fawkes Day, some are busy growing their ‘staches for Movember and many more are looking forward to stuffing their faces on Turkey Day next week. However, there is only one holiday that pays homage to the admirers of the creamy spread – peanut butter. Not to be confused with National Peanut Day, (Jan. 2), or National Peanut Month, (March), or National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day, (April 2), November represents Peanut Butter Lover's Month, which can be celebrated in a variety of ways.

I miss living on campus. Well, that is not entirely true. I miss certain aspects of living on campus. The ease of access to both food and friends makes an easily compelling argument to live on campus and those are exactly the reasons I can reminisce back to living on campus as opposed to looking back with disdain.
