Ball State men's basketball lost its nine-game win streak after the game against Buffalo on Jan. 6 in John E. Worthen Arena. The Cardinals lost 63-83.
The Ball State men's and women's swimming and diving teams both traveled to Indianapolis to take on Xavier, IUPUI and University of Indianapolis. The men fell to Xavier 184 -110, to IUPUI 229-71, and to UIndy 222-77. The final scores for the women were Xavier 184, Ball State 104; IUPUI 174, Ball State 126; and UIndy 165, Ball State 131.
