Last week he was arrested on a marijuana possession charge last week. Newsome, who was drafted in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft, thanked the Colts organization via Twitter for the opportunity. The former Cardinal linebacker also thanked Colts fans via Twitter as well. Signed in 2014, Newsome received a $178,108 signing bonus to go along with his four-year, nearly $2.4 million contract.
