Ball State drops 3rd straight game in loss to Akron

 Ball State Men’s Basketball Head Coach James Whitford alluded the Cardinals’ (6-8, 4-5 MAC) 74-42 loss against Akron (10-3, 8-2 MAC) to a possession in football where the start of the play appears to go well but can’t quite get finished off. 



In Between the Lines: Right to life

I was raised with the belief that once you are brought into this world, you have a purpose and are deserving of life. The morals that have been instilled in me since birth tell me laws like the death penalty should cease to exist, but morality can’t necessarily be backed up by fact.

Muncie mayor creates mask program to support local businesses

As the coronavirus has spread around the world, the need for masks has spread just as fast as the virus itself, and local businesses have struggled to keep up with the demand. Muncie Mayor Dan Ridenour created the Masks for Muncie program to provide supplies for businesses in need.



Upcoming DC Films in the Works

The DC Extended Universe has had a history of announcing line-ups of films only to change their plans a few months later. Whenever a film comes out and something works within it, they generally announce random spin-offs and sequels that never see the light of day. Because of this nature of suddenly announcing films to only wipe them off the schedule, it may get confusing as to what films are and aren’t coming out. To that end, this list will break down the confirmed DC films in the works.

Ball State SGA vetoes Rent College Pads partnership

On Jan. 27, the Ball State Student Government Association (SGA) held its weekly meeting over Zoom and voted on a new elections board coordinator and the approval of new Rules and Constitution Committee appointments. President Connor Sanburn also presented a veto on the approved partnership between Ball State University and Rent College Pads.
