We worry about the important packages we send and receive through delivery services. Will we receive them? Will someone take the box from my home? Unfortunately, these concerns are valid, but there are ways you can help keep your packages safer.

Ball State Nominees for 2022 Tony Awards

Three Ball State University graduates and a Ball State faculty member are among the 2022 Tony nominees. The 75th Tony Awards is scheduled for June 12, and will air on CBS-TV and Paramount+.

Delta, Yorktown and Muncie Burris Boys' Golf Regionals results

Delta High School's Riley Bratton advanced to the State Finals June 14-15, as June 9, Delta and Yorktown High School Boys' Golf teams competed in Regional 3, hosted by Muncie Central High School at The Players Club in Yorktown, Indiana. Muncie Burris was also represented individually by Nahom Solomon.

Baseball and Softball All-Delaware County Teams announced

As announced June 7, athletes from six Delaware County High Schools were selected to All-Delaware County Teams in both baseball and softball. For Softball, Yorktown High School led the way with six selections, and Baseball saw Cowan, Delta and Wapahani High School tie for the most selections with four each.

Music artists share original compositions on living in Indiana

Eric Salazar knew after a high school jazz band bass clarinet solo what he wanted to do with the rest of his life. After his Brownsburg High School band director Joe Vrabec credited him as the reason the band won a judge’s choice award from a 2007 Purdue University jazz competition, he said he wanted to become a music performer to “help people feel their feelings and help people through music.”

Ball State University Police Department training June 6-7

The Ball State University Police Department, along with other first responders, is set to conduct training at Northside Middle School June 6-7. Muncie community members may notice increased police and first responder presence in the area of Northside Middle School during these time periods.
