IMPACT

Mike Martin, along with Christina Mann and Kory Gipson, are set to teach a 12-week “Impact X Class” starting September 13, a collaboration between Ball State University’s Entrepreneurship Center, the City of Muncie and the In Place Impact Muncie Initiative, hoping to help Muncie’s entrepreneurial and economic scene grow.

A Helping Hand

Ball State’s Office of Community Engagement holds its annual Day of Action Friday, Sept. 9, to help Delaware and surrounding counties with providing basic necessities.

SGA hosts Jordyn Blythe from Orr Fellowship

Sept. 7, the Ball State Students Government Association (SGA) hosted former Alumna Jordyn Blythe representing Orr Fellowship. Sen. Andy Hopkins, the chair of the At-Large Caucus, talked about plans to use surveys to bring student issues to light and give them representation.

Setting a Season Standard

Following the conclusion of their historic season that included a Mid-American Conference (MAC) championship and a first NCAA Tournament win since 1995 in the 2021 season, Ball State Women’s Volleyball saw a transition period that included the departure of two assistant coaches, Tiffany Koors and Fritz Rosenberg, as well as four players.

Beyond the game

The Prison of Perfectionism

Whether I was gravitating toward the approval of my parental figures or being the go-to-person for everyone when they were down or in need of assistance, I adopted a lifestyle of being a perfectionist — a lifestyle that consisted of being there for others as much as I wished someone was there for me.
