Henry wins vault, Cardinals finish second at MAC Championships

Ball State tied its fifth-best score in program history and tied its best finish at the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Championship since 2002 with a score of 196.325 to finish second March 18 at host Kent State. It is the seventh runner-up finish in program history for the Cardinals and the first since 2016.

Ball State earns first win of MAC campaign over Northern Illinois

After Ball State men’s tennis dropped their opening Mid-American Conference (MAC) matchup against Western Michigan Friday, head coach Bill Richards had one message for his team: “How you come back from a loss really defines you as a player, defines you as a coach, defines you as a team,” Richards said. Sunday, the Cardinals (9-6, 1-2 MAC) responded with a 5-2 win over the Northern Illinois Huskies (11-4, 3-1 MAC). Coming in, the team knew what was at stake after their 0-2 start.

Delta, Wapahani fall in semi-state

Even though the two Delaware County teams came up short, they both had successful seasons. Before this year, Wapahani had never even won a regional. The Raiders were also the Delaware County Tournament champions.

Members of the LGBTQ+ community are being restricted from donating blood and plasma

You must be 18 years or older. You must weigh more than 110 pounds. You must be in good health.  Simple rules for donating blood, right?  Not necessarily.  You must not be a male who has had sexual contact with another male in the last three months. You may be able to donate blood as a trans man … but not if you’ve had sex with another man in the last three months. If you are an individual who identifies as female and has had sex with a man, you may be eligible to donate blood.
