Smoke-free Delaware County is ultimate goal of coalition

The Tobacco-Free Coalition of Delaware County held a meeting last night at the Kennedy Library in Muncie to rally support for an ordinance that would ban smoking in places such as bars and restaurants across Delaware County.


WOMEN'S TENNIS: Ball State coach ready for a homecoming

For the first time as coach at Ball State, Christine Bader will make a homecoming trip to her alma mater, Michigan State, as the women's tennis team competes in the Spartan Invitational this weekend.


Pianist Hiromi Uehara plays at Pruis Hall

Her posters have been placed around campus this week, and at 7:30 p.m., Pruis Hall will be featuring a performance by jazz pianist and composer Hiromi Uehara.



Splash Bash

The University Program Board sponsored Splash Bash provided free entertainment and food for students Thursday evening. The event was held on University Green, where students enjoyed wrestling on the Hydro Ballz water game, tie dying shirts and eating hotdogs and cookies.  



MEN'S GOLF: Ball State ranked 31st nationally

Two excellent showings by the Ball State men's golf team have garnered the Cardinals national recognition. Ball State was ranked 31st in the nation this week after tying for second in the Wolf Run Intercollegiate and sixth in the Cardinal Collegiate.
