Even when the suffering isn’t always outwardly visible, there’s still the weighty baggage of pain that is oftentimes shouldered by those with invisible conditions. It’s important we keep an open mind so the people who are already feeling alone don’t become more isolated.

“It has been such a great experience,” senior goaltender Hannah Johnston said. “It is so much bigger than the sport. I think a lot of people look at it as four years of your time then you are done but I think it is so monumental, the people you meet from all across the world and the friendships you make.”

Students affected as Israel-Hamas war continues

The Israel-Hamas war continues to affect hundreds in the region and around the world, including the Ball State community. The war began Oct. 7 after an attack on a music festival in Kibbutz Re’im, Israel, which led to a series of back-and-forth attacks that have killed thousands.
