Cardinals end 2023 campaign with a road loss to Michigan State

Although Ball State was eliminated from postseason contention a week ago, The Cardinals hoped to finish the season strong and add another loss to the Spartans losing streak on their senior day, however, it became a defensive struggle for the Cardinals to manage from the start.

Ball State sweeps Kent State to regain momentum

“There wasn't a ton of pressure that was put on us, but at least we were staying focused and doing things on our side of the court regardless of what was happening on the other side,” Ball State head coach Kelli Miller Phillips said.

Ball State loses by 4 at Miami

Miami continued their now 21-game win streak against Ball State, as they have won every match between the two universities since Thursday, November 3rd, 2011.

Ball State snaps losing streak

This win secures the third seed in the conference for Ball State and home advantage for their quarter-final match this Sunday, October 29. At the time of this publication, the Cardinals are currently slated to face Ohio University in the Mid-American Conference tournament.

Lindsey Blom’s instruction makes an impact on Ball State Alumni

Blom's experience overcoming adversity helps her empathize with student athletes she has mentored during her 15-year career at Ball State University. Blom has worked as a faculty athletic representative, chairperson for Ball State’s School of Kinesiology, and professor of sport and exercise psychology, but was just named associate athletic director for championship performance.
