After stuffing your face with turkey and taking a quick power nap, it’s time to get out to the shops. Yes, Black Friday, the most anticipated shopping day of the season. If you’re like me, you go for the excitement, and the people watching before going home and ordering everything online. Here are some deals you cannot miss.
TVs- I think every year on the news we see people fighting over giant flat screen TVs. And I don’t think that’s going to change this year. Walmart, Amazon and Best Buy are competing for the lowest prices, with some flat screens as low as $70. So if you’re looking for a new TV for your dorm or house, now’s the time.
Movies- Black Friday is the night to stock up your DVD collection. Walmart is discounting movies like Pitch Perfect 2 and Harry Potter from as low as $2. So you don’t feel guilty picking up five or ten of your favorites.
The iPhone 7- Apples latest release, on the wish lists of smart phone lovers everywhere. It’s hefty price tag can take it off your wish list. But luckily for us, Target is giving customers up to a $250 gift card for the iPhone 7 or 7 plus.
Beats Headphones- As college students, we are always binge watching Netflix or listening to Spotify in between classes. Target’s door buster deal is discounting Beats headphones by over $150. A steal that can’t be beat.
Clothing- Most of the Black Friday deals are based along electronics, but stores like Old Navy are discounting the entire store by 50%. Now a college budget can afford some new sweaters.
Whether you choose to partake in Black Friday deals or not, remember to enjoy your Thanksgiving dinner with your family. With stores opening earlier every year, a holiday that was supposed to be about love and time together is quickly being commercialized. Sit back and enjoy your break with friends and family.
