Indiana Michigan Power (I&M) will resume construction on Tillotson Avenue early this month, with work ending in late October according to a press release from I&M.
The release said be prepared for traffic control changes and delays.
“Our crews are working as quickly and safely as possible to get things back to normal,” said Rob Keisling, External Affairs manager. “We appreciate the patience and cooperation while our crews make repairs and finish upgrades to provide better service for you.
I&M is coordinating post-project road-restoration activities with the City of Muncie, with the city saying to expect a full repaving of the affected area along Tillotson Avenue in 2026.
