Quiet today with rain chances on the way

NLI Weather Alert: The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for Grant, Blackford, Jay, Delaware, Madison, Randolphs, and Henry counties. This will be in effect from 8 AM tomorrow to 8 PM tomorrow. This wind advisory entails sustained winds from 15-25 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph. If you have any unsecured or loose items outside, bring those items inside, or properly secure them to avoid losing those items.

Today: Today will be dry, however we do expect to se cloud cover increase as the day progresses. Winds speeds will also increase, which will help set us up for a gusty night tonight through tomorrow. Highs will remain above average today, which will be in the mid-70s.

Tonight: Winds pick up, and cloud cover, although variable at times, is expected to increase in coverage throughout the night. In the late overnight hours, some rain chances will make its way into the area. Overnight winds will be from the south from 15-20 mph, with gusts up to 35 mph. Overnight lows don't drop very far due to the cloud cover, with lows in the lower-60s.

Tomorrow: Wind Advisory in effect for Grant, Blackford, Jay, Delaware, Madison, Randolphs, and Henry counties until 8 PM. Expect wind gusts up to 50 mph at times. Showers likely across the area through the day, before the system moves out, brining the rain chances to an end, and somewhat cooler temperatues on the way.

7-Day: After a windy Saturday, conditions clear up Sunday, and remain clear until Thursday, when slight chances for rain showers appear. Temperatures hovering in the mid-60s to around 70 degrees on the 7-day. Friday brings a cool-down with temperatures in the low-to-mid-60s, with cold temperatures looking likely behind that.
