Abigail E. Comber was appointed as interim principal at Burris Laboratory School for the 2021-22 academic year, as announced in a July 23 Ball State press release.

Comber will replace Dawn Miller, who was recently hired as the academic performance coordinator in the Office of Charter Schools at Ball State.
Comber began her Burris career as an instructor of English in 2008. In 2018, she was promoted to assistant principal. Comber also has teaching experience from various schools in Washington, Ohio and Oregon.
