The Student Government Association (SGA) introduced a senate order recognizing the Ball State College Democrats’ efforts in registering new voters.

The senate order, authored by senator Matt Hinkleman, was introduced at the meeting Wednesday at the L.A. Pittenger Student Center.

College Democrats helped register over 350 new voters this semester at Ball State, the order states.

Senator Lauren Kamykowski was also recognized for enlisting her fellow senators to take part in the registration.

The relatively short meeting concluded with senators dispersing to their caucus meetings as usual.
