Ball State sent a campus-wide public safety advisory email at around 5:30 a.m. Friday, after a report of a sexual assault on Riverside Avenue.
The email stated University Police Department (UPD) received a report of sexual assault reported to have occurred Sept. 13 at a location in the 900 block of W. Riverside Ave.
It stated no further information was available at the time.
This is the first public safety advisory email sent to campus on a reported sexual assault during the fall 2019 semester.
