Marvel to rerelease Endgame in theaters with new footage

by Tt Shinkan
During a press junket in London for “Spider-Man: Far From Home”, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige announced that Disney is planning to rerelease “Avengers: Endgame” next weekend. This version of the film will include additional footage at the end of the film.
In an interview with Screen Rant, Feige said “if you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises.”
“A little tribute” could mean a lot of things. Without giving away any spoilers, there was one character who didn’t get the “good bye” they deserved after their death. However, this tribute could also be a reference to the late Stan Lee, who died this past November.
The rerelease comes during a weekend where no major blockbusters are set to be released which will draw people back to the theatre to potentially earn more than $2.78 billion thus surpassing James Cameron’s “Avatar” as the highest-grossing movie of all time.
“Avengers: Endgame” will be rereleased June 28.
