A winter mess is ahead of us for the morning

Tonight: Snow moves in overnight leaving a mess for our morning commute tomorrow. Areas to our east will see more snow than our western areas. I expect most areas to see around a tenth of an inch of ice.

Tomorrow: Rain and Snow clear out by the afternoon and we begin to dry out. Winds shifting out to the south will push us into the 40's. This will melt most of the snow and ice that would have fallen in the morning.

7-Day: After our winter storm tomorrow morning we will clear out and warm up by the weekend, A strong low pressure system will develop out in the plains and travel up the Mississippi River  bringing us a chance of rain and possibly some storms on Saturday. After Tuesday our long term pattern seems to be turning cold. We may see temps fall below average after this.
