April sun makes today better than expected

Today: The sun is finally out after the gloomy day that we had yesterday allowing us to get 20-25 degrees warmer than we were yesterday. This just goes to show the power that the April sun has. Rain chances begin to build in during the afternoon with rain moving in the evening hours.

Tonight:

Rain chances increase as a system approaches and by the early morning hours tomorrow expect those rain chances to turn into snow chances. Not much snow is to be expected.

Tomorrow: Highs will top out in the low 50's across the viewing area for Thursday. Stronger winds out of the north keep us cool for tomorrow, however we will have lots of sunshine.

7-Day Forecast:For all the spring lovers out there you finally get your wish! Temperatures do a slow and gradual climb into the low to mid 60s by the beginning of next week. We also get a wonderful break from the rain for the rest of the week. Monday and Tuesday are just a start to finally being at or above average and by the end of next week we will be seeing a much warmer pattern that will last longer than last week’s warm burst.
