Coming off a big victory in Florida two weeks ago, Ball State women's golf will look to win back-to-back tournaments as it takes on top competitors in Rio Verde, Arizona. Western Michigan University will be hosting the Rio Verde Collegiate Invitational from Friday to Sunday.

The Cardinals will go into this full weekend of tournament play with a lot of confidence after their stellar performance in Florida.

After going undefeated in the Sunshine Invitational, Ball State’s freshmen will look to put up consistently low scores to help secure a victory. Freshmen Holly Anderson, Liz Kim, Emily Knouff and Reece Malapit will be the make-or-break factors of this tournament.

The freshmen hope to excel under the leadership of senior Morgan Nadaline, junior Sydney Anderson and sophomore Manon Tounalom. The group of upperclassmen leads the team on and off the course while scoring low in their own games.

The Cardinals will look to find a groove on the course and hope to win another early tournament.

Ball State will be teeing off in the sunshine of Arizona Friday, Saturday and Sunday of this weekend, hoping to continue its winning ways.
