NewsLink prepares students for job experiences after graduation. Mackenzie Klahr, former Assistant News Director, explained, “NewsLink is very much like a real station.”

NewsLink benefits students by introducing them to equipment they will use after graduation. Eric Guanajuanto, former Production Manager explained, “We’re getting hands-on experiences using the stuff that professionals are using.”

The equipment is brand for students. Bri Kirkham, former News Director, explains, “We’re working with new equipment, a new set, a new studio, new workspace, everything is brand new.”

Klahr furthered, “Being in the new studio is such a great thing I want to brag about it to anyone that comes in. Whenever tour guides come in the studio, I’m so excited to show them what Ball State has that other schools because it really sets us apart from the rest.”
