After suffering two straight losses for the first time all season, Ball State led Kent State from nearly start to finish on Saturday afternoon to pick up MAC win number four, 79-58.

The Cardinals (15-3,4-3 MAC) were led by junior guard Carmen Grande, whose 15 points tied a team high to go with her 10 assists. All five Ball State starters scored in double figures.

The Cardinals defense also forced 22 turnovers and held the Golden Flashes to just 23.5 percent from beyond the arc.

Ball State's offense roared from the start, shooting nearly 50 percent on the game with all five starters each shooting 50 percent or better individually.

Next up, Ball State hosts Bowling Green on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Worthen Arena.
