University police made one arrest following reports of shots fired in the 1000 block of West Ashland Avenue shortly after midnight Sunday, according to officers responding to the call.
The individual, who is still unidentified, was the only person arrested at the scene. No one was injured during the incident, and police said they aren't searching for other suspects at this time.
Ball State issued an emergency alert notification at 12:11 a.m. regarding the report of shots fired, and an all-clear alert was sent out at 1:18 a.m.
Both Muncie police and university police responded to the scene, but officers said further investigation will be handled by university police.
