INDOT announces new lane closures

The Indiana Department of Transportation warns travelers of construction changes during commutes over Labor Day weekend. The holiday weekend is one of the busiest times for highway travel in Indiana. Indiana Department of Transportation, Photo Provided

The Indiana Department of Transportation announced new lane closures. The closures that affect Muncie residents are:

  • I-69 Ramps at I-465 and 82nd Street  Various lane and ramp closures at the I-69 interchange ramps at I-465 and 82nd Street Exit 201 may be scheduled between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. each night.
  • I-69 Major Moves 2020 Project from State Road 37 to State Road 38 I-69 may be reduced to one lane in each direction each night between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. 
  • Pleasant Creek Bridges at State Road 332 (McGalliard Road) One left lane of I-69 South near Exit 241 is temporarily diverted across the median to share the northbound side of the interstate. One right lane of I-69 South remains shifted to the right on the southbound side of the interstate. It will remain closed until Oct. 4.
