Rain and warmer temperatures return

MUNCIE, IN (Newslink Indiana) -- Weather seems like it has finally made the transition over to fall. This time two weeks ago high temperatures were in the mid-to-upper 70s and today they were nice and crisp with some breezy winds. However, the higher temperatures are going to return. Overnight tonight we are going to see some rain showers and hear a few rumbles of thunder. For the most part though, the rain should be gone by noon tomorrow. Temperatures won't make it past 56 degrees for a high temperature. Friday and Saturday the sunshine will return to the forecast and temperatures will climb up into the upper 60s and up to 73 on Saturday. Rain returns for your Sunday, but for your Halloween, temperatures will be eerily warm with a high of 74 degrees. The 7-day is rounded off by a pair of days with mixed sun and clouds. and temperatures will return to the upper 60s. For further weather coverage, be sure to follow us on twitter @NLIWeather!
