When: Monday January 25 at 7 p.m.

Where: Student Center Cardinal Hall

The fair is open to all students, and refreshments will be provided.

EIL is hosting the fair Jan. 25 in Cardinal Hall at 7 p.m. The fair has previously been held during the fall semester but was switched to spring so students could learn leadership skills before engaging in new organizations.

“A lot of the organizations know that these students have skills and have listened to different people talk about leadership qualities,” Jordyn Kovolyan, an EIL graduate assistant, said. “It’s a more unique opportunity than just a regular involvement fair.”

Students will have the opportunity to learn about different campus organizations, such as the homecoming steering committee, Dance Marathon and Student Government Association, among others.

Bryce Smith, a sophomore business administration major, said he is looking forward to experiencing the fair for the first time.

“I personally have not previously attended this fair, so I am not really sure what to expect," Smith said in an email. "However, I am very excited for the opportunity to attend the Leadership Involvement Fair in a few short weeks.”

Freshman Amber Harrington, a criminal justice and criminology major, said the fair should help students get more involved.

“This is extremely beneficial to students because it allows them to really see their potential in the workforce and see how they can use their skills on and off campus," Harrington said in an email.
