Students bear wind, cold for Letterman tickets

Tickets to see David Letterman go on sale for Ball State students Friday at 7 a.m. Students are bearing the wind and cold to get keep their spot in line.

Some came to Emens Auditorium fully prepared; equipped with blankets, sleeping bags and tents. Others are trading off with their friends in shifts to reserve their spot in line.

David Letterman will be coming to Ball State on Nov. 30 with filmmakers Spike Jonze and Bennett Miller. Tickets are free for students, faculty and staff. Faculty and staff can retrieve their tickets Friday and 12 p.m., and they go on sale to the general public on Monday, Nov. 16.
