Four Halloween events to attend in Muncie

1. A Muncie Horror Story Halloween at Be Here Now

What: Be Here Now is hosting a party inspired by the popular FX show, “American Horror Story.” Sections of the venue will be devoted to different seasons including the Downstairs Asylum and the Beer Garden Freak Show. Halloween games include a “nun-kissing booth” and a bloody balloon pop. A drag show will take place at 10 p.m., followed by a costume contest.

When: 8 p.m. - 2 a.m., Oct. 31

Cost: $5, 21 plus and $10, for ages 18-20

Where: 505 N. Dill St.


2. Jake Dodds Live on Halloween Night at the Chug

What: Country artist Jake Dodds will perform on Halloween. Things will get a little spookier with a costume contest. Prizes, including Indianapolis Colt’s tickets, will be given throughout the night.

When: Oct. 31, 10 p.m.

Cost: Free

Where: 409 N. Martin St.


3. All Hallow’s Eve Bash at the Cornerstone Center for the Arts

What: The Cornerstone Center for the Arts will host a third-floor Halloween party complete with haunted house, live entertainment, a costume contest and an open bar.

When: 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., Oct. 31

Cost: $15 for tickets. The event is for adults 18 and older.

Where: 520 E. Main St.


4. Halloween Breakfast Club and Costume Contest at Brothers Bar & Grill

What: Start Halloween early with a costume contest (with prizes), free breakfast and live DJ at Brothers Bar & Grill. 

When: Oct. 31, 8 a.m.

Cost: $5, 21 plus

Where: 1601 W. University Ave.
