Quantic Dream has revealed its next video game in an announcement trailer. Detroit: Become Human will be the developer's debut on the PlayStation 4.
The idea of Kara's character came out of Beyond Two Soul's tech demo, another game Quantic Dream released for the PlayStation 3 back in 2013. Similar to the trailer's beginning, a newly build android named Kara is nearly disassembled for thinking she was meant to be more than merchandise. The demo's disclaimer mentioned that the footage was not from a game in development, but it seems that the developer changed its mind.
Aside from
Beyond Two Souls, other notable games Quantic Dream has released include Heavy Rain and Fahrenheit. Detroit: Become Human does not have a release date, yet.
