The Ball State men's golf team has added Colin Proctor to its roster for next season, an Anderson, Ind. native and graduate of Pendleton Heights High School.

Proctor was a redshirt last season for the University of Illinois and will have four years of eligibility at Ball State.

"We welcome Colin to the Ball State golf family," Ball State head coach Mike Fleck said. "He spent a valuable year with one of the best programs in college golf, learning and competing with All-American student-athletes. Colin is a powerful player, and his skills will push our young, talented roster.”

Illinois was ranked No. 1 in the country for most of last season.

During his high school career, Proctor was ranked the No. 5 player in the state of Indiana. He won two high school sectional championships and led Pendleton to two sectionals as well.

Proctor joins Timothy Wisemen and Tyler Pearson as newcomers for next season.
