Ball State improves to 4-2 with win over Bradley

The Ball State women's tennis team defeated Bradley 7-0 at the Muncie YMCA on Friday to improve to 4-2 on the season. 

The win was the Cardinals' second straight overall.

Ball State swept all three doubles matches to take the point.

Junior Courtney Earnest paired with sophomore Rosalinda Calderon to defeat Alexa Brandt and Ashley Thai 6-3. Junior Bethany Moore and senior Courtney Wild won 6-4 at No. 2 and sophomore Toni Ormond and freshman Olivia Large won at No. 3.

In singles play, Earnest, Ormond, Moore and Calderon won in straight sets. Wild and Brandt both defeated defeated their opponents in third set tiebreaks at No.1 and No. 3 singles.

The Cardinals will return to the court as they travel to take on Cleveland State at 12 p.m. on Feb. 15.
