Several businesses in the Village have been closing, causing some Ball State students to believe that the area is slowing down.
The Locker Room - a restaurant and bar - has officially closed down, and the Dill Street Bar and Grill has been closed for weeks, although its current status is unknown.
Others think the opening of newer businesses such as Brothers will increase revenues for the Village.
The apartments in the Village Promenade are not filled yet, which is thought to bring more people into the space.
