The Ball State women's swimming & diving team fell to Miami 186-111 on Senior Day, the team's final home meet of the season.
Prior to the meet, the program honored seniors Carlena Magley, Jordan VanWinkle, Leighann Mattson, Elaine Pitsas and Kayla Hussey for their contributions.
The Cardinals finished the meet with 18 top-three finishes and four individual event wins.
Magley finished with two individual wins with a 1:55.38 in the 200 freestyle and a 53.06 in the 100 freestyle. She also finished with two second-place finishes on the day.
Sophomore Katie Horn also finished with two victories. She recorded a 2:08.20 in the 200 fly and a 58.65 in the 100 fly.
VanWinkle posted three second place finishes in the meet.
All three Ball State divers scored a new career-high on both the one- and three-meter boards. Sophomore Brittany Penn made the cut for the NCAA competition with a 266.40.
The Cardinals will finish their Mid-American Conference schedule on Feb. 7 as they travel to take on Toledo at 1 p.m.
