Burlesque show to entertain muncie locals, students

Muncie Civic Theatre will continue its long history of a burlesque theater when it plays host to the annual Star Follies Burlesque show tonight, a concept Ball State graduates Robert Dirden and Marciel Greene, now current Ball State faculty members, created four years ago .

For Star Follies Burlesque's fifth consecutive show, its theme is circus Freak Show. Past show themes have included traditional burlesque, U.S.O. military and a series of burlesque through the decades.

The lobby will be open at 10 p.m. with a cash bar from Dill Street Pub and entertainment, including a Tarot card reader and a belly dancer for one hour before showtime at 11 p.m. Tickets are $10 and attendees must be 18 or older. Seating is general admission.
