Emmy-nominated actress, transgender advocate and “Orange is the New Black” star, Laverne Cox, will speak at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 23 in Pruis Hall.
The Excellence in Leadership program announced Friday via Facebook that the actress would appear on campus in February. She’ll be presenting “Ain’t I a Woman: My Journey to Womanhood.”
The event is free and open to the public.
