Indiana State Excise Police arrested 12 people on 40 charges in Muncie over the weekend.
Seven minors received 23 summonses for possession of false ID, minor in tavern, illegal possession of alcohol, false informing and false statement of age Friday, according to a press release from Cpl. Travis Thickstun of excise.
On Saturday, five other minors received 17 summonses for illegal possession of alcohol, possession of false ID, misuse of driver's license, false statement of age and false informing.
Thickstun wrote that a majority of the minors were from out of state and had out-of-state false IDs — all but one of the minors had false IDs.
