The Ball State women’s basketball team is aiming to keep its last two road games of the regular season on a positive note while the Cardinals have a rematch against the Mid-American Conference West leader, Central Michigan.

The Cardinals fell to the Chippewas in overtime Feb. 6 by a score of 81-84 in Worthen Arena. Central Michigan shot 41.3 percent in the win.

Central Michigan is pacing the MAC West with a 13-1 conference record, while Ball State sits at a 6-8 MAC record.

Central Michigan forward Crystal Bradford is leading her team in nearly every statistic such as points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks.

Ball State’s Nathalie Fontaine and Brittany Carter are both averaging double figures. Fontaine averages 16.5 points per game, and Carter averages 10.7 points per game.
