Music’s biggest night had all the elements an award show should have, a Beyoncé and Jay Z duet, Taylor Swift head banging in the front row and…a mass wedding?

The 56th Grammy Award is definitely one for the books. Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr perform together nearly 50 years after their U.S. debut and Queen Latifah officiates the weddings of 33 gay and straight couples.

It is hard to say which one was the performance of the night. Katy Perry’s rendition of “Dark Horse” certainly had no whipped cream bras but was still on fire…literally. And Pink shows off her acrobatics (again) as she belts out her hit single “Try.”

But who could leave out the legends that are the Beatles? Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr hit the stage once again to sing McCartney’s new song “Queenie Eye.”

The big winner of the night was Daft Punk who took home five Grammys. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis weren’t far behind winning four awards. But it seemed Lorde was the most talked about after winning two awards, including Song of the Year. Not bad for only 17 years old.

Neil Patrick Harris said “We are all about to ‘Get Lucky’” when Daft Punk, Pharrell Williams and none other than Stevie Wonder took the stage with what could have been the most interesting grouped performance of the night.

But it wasn’t Pharrell’s voice that people noticed. In what ET called a “Canadian-Mountie-style number,” his hat grabbed the most attention on Twitter.

Jay Z not only won Best Rap/Song Collaboration with “Holy Grail,” but he had best quote of the night. After accepting the award he gave a shout out to his only daughter Blue Ivy. “Daddy’s got a gold sippy cup for you.”

And what is an award show without Taylor Swift rocking out in the front row? The country queen danced to Kendrick Lamar and Imagine Dragons singing “Radioactive” in what will surely be the best GIF of the night.

After Macklemore, Ryan Lewis and Mary Lambert performed their hit single “Same Love,” Queen Latifah took to the stage to introduce 33 gay and straight couples to be married. “They have chosen this moment to celebrate their vows with us here in Los Angeles,” said Latifah.

The newlyweds then exchanged rings and walked down the aisle through the audience, as Madonna walked onstage to sing “Open Your Heart.”

To close the show, Daft Punk walked away with the biggest award of the night, Album of the Year.
