Students can apply for Homecoming Steering Committee

Students interested in event planning who have good communication and organization skills can apply for Homecoming Steering Committee.


Applications for the Homecoming Steering Committee are now being accepted.  


Eight to 12 positions will be open, including general chair, talent search chair, parade chair and campus relations chair. 


Applicants must be enrolled through Fall Semester and retain a GPA of 2.75 or higher. 


Steering Committee holds mandatory meetings every Monday at 3 p.m. in the Alumni Center beginning the week after Spring Break.


Chairs will also be expected to maintain two office hours each week. 


Applications must be in by 4 p.m. Friday.


General chairman interviews will be held Wednesday and committee interviews will be Feb. 13 and 14 at the Alumni Center. 


Applications are available at bsu.edu/homecoming. Students wishing to become involved with Homecoming events are encouraged to submit applications to the Homecoming office or homecoming@bsu.edu.
