One loss against a tough opponent and Ball State is now a below-average team to you. A below-average team does not come back from a deficit and then lose by two points. Most teams give up. Not our Cardinals - they "rise up" to the challenge.
It is amazing to me the lack of respect for the effort the students and coaches put into the football team. They are putting their best on the field each week and we only care when they are winning. We need to be with our team through thick and thin.
When you are willing to put on a set of shoulder pads and to make the game winning tackle, then I will listen to your opinion on our football team. I am happy to stand up and cheer for my Cardinals without second guessing our team. They are a much better team than most people think. Mistakes happen - but it's how you react to the mistakes that matter.
