Students, residents come to campus for egg hunt, petting zoo, Radio Disney DJ

Students and families participated in an egg hunt, face painting, a petting zoo, games, a DJ from Radio Disney and a visit from the Easter Bunny.

Despite the cool weather, program director Claire Roy said they either met or surpassed their goal of 800 people who attended the festivities.

Although Radio Disney played a significant role in keeping the crowds, Roy said the animals were what drew them.

Bethany Cavenaile, a freshman management major, went to the Eggstravaganza specifically for the petting zoo.

"My favorite was the baby goat," Cavenaile said. "It was adorable."

Cavenaile also enjoyed being able to hold the petting zoo's baby chicks.
