Ball State's game at No. 15 Purdue on Wednesday afternoon was cancelled because of rain and lightning in West Lafayette.
This is the second time a Cardinals game has been cancelled this season. Ball State's game at Wofford on opening weekend was also rained out.
Ball State will travel to Toledo this weekend for a three-game series beginning Friday at 3 p.m.
