INDIANAPOLIS - Indiana State Police made more than 370 drunken driving arrests were made during a two-night crackdown this past weekend.
State police Sgt. Tony Slocum says troopers around Indiana conducted saturation patrols Friday and Saturday nights in conjunction with Operation Pull Over Blitz and St. Patrick's Day. The crackdown led to 373 people being arrested for impaired driving, 3,717 traffic citations being issued, 6,262 traffic warnings being issued and 402 people being arrested for various criminal offenses.
The patrols concentrated on taking impaired and dangerous drivers off the roadways.
