McKinley Avenue is closed from University Avenue to Jackson Street while the city mills and repaves the road.
Jim Lowe, director of Engineering, Construction, and Operations said the work may be close to being done, but the end to the project would depend on the weather. He said the earliest the work could be done is by Friday.
Shuttles and buses have been re-routed to avoid the portion in McKinley that is under construction until the work is completed. No bus stops are being affected by this change.
