WOMEN'S GOLF: Brittany Kelly earns MAC Player of the Week

Kelly tied for second place in Rio Verde Invitational

Brittany Kelly, a senior member of the Ball State women's golf team, has received the Mid-American Conference's Golfer of the Week award.

Kelly led Ball State to a 10th-place finish at the Rio Verde Invitational, tying for second in the 90-person tournament. She was six over par with a total score of 222.

Kelly scored low yet again at the UNLV Spring Invitational tying for 22nd on March 9. She helped the Cardinals capture 12th place in the 15-team event.

Kelly has placed in the top-ten five times in her senior season.

Kelly will look to continue to lead the Cardinals toward success in the Little Rock Golf Classic on March 28.

Also receiving the award were Kristen Hill of Akron and Robyn Scott of Eastern Michigan, who also tied for second at the Rio Verde Invitational.
