No Keys Push To Start takes title at Beer Pong State Championship

He stepped up to shoot with the entire game on the line; water flips from his fingertips as the ball leaves his hand, and splash, Chris Rische hit the final cup Saturday evening at Be Here Now giving his team 'No Keys Push To Start' a pocket full of cash and the title of Indiana's 2011 Beer Pong Champions.

Rische said the competition was tough; more than 15 of the best teams in Indiana showed up to compete.

The tournament came down to a three-game showdown between teams 'Don't Act Like You're Not Impressed' and 'No Keys Push To Start.'

'Don't Act Like You're Not Impressed' went up 1-0 in the best-of-three series. The team would've taken the title in two matches had it not been for a shot from Ryan Dammarell of 'No Keys Push To Start.'

Dammarell hit the only cup left, sending game two into overtime, and he said never looked back.

Dammarell and Rische caught fire as they cleared the cups in overtime and easily took the final game of the series sealing their victory.

"I have been on a hot-streak lately," Rische said.

The State Championship accounted for his fourth victory this week alone.

Dammarell and Rische are currently ranked number 3 and 4 in the state respectively and decided to team up just before the Championship took place. The duo said they don't plan to slow down anytime soon.
